| Doc graduated with honors in 1983 from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. He has provided outstanding and dedicated service to his clients and patients in Kentucky ever since, first in private practice and currently as the full-time veterinarian at Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary. Doc attends seminars and continuing education classes several times a year to remain updated on cutting edge techniques and treatments. His extensive and diverse background with native wildlife, domestic and exotic animals and birds make him the perfect addition to the Broadbent family. Community Service Dr. Mike is actively involved in a community effort to assist individuals in recovery for substance abuse. He speaks regularly at schools and churches on the subject. He along with other Community members have purchased a building in Irvington, Ky called the Acceptance Place.
