Mary Ann Tobin, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary, and Tracy
Carter, Executive Director, are proud and thrilled to announce that Diane Watchinski ,Ft. Lauderdale,
Fla. has accepted the position of Director of Development at the rapidly growing wildlife hospital and
animal welfare-oriented Broadbent Sanctuary.

The 3500 acre animal haven is preparing for expansion in all areas of animal rehabilitation, release,
tracking studies, public education, and veterinarian services. "Known nationwide for her total
dedication and outstanding leadership in both domestic animal relief and wildlife preservation, Diane is
exactly the person we need with the exceptional talents we have been looking for to complete our
search for an outstanding leadership team at Broadbent," said Mary Ann Tobin, founder of Broadbent.

Diane spent almost 10 years at the largest wildlife facility in the state of Florida, the majority of
which she served as the Director of Development. In that position, she organized events from the Walk
for Wildlife to black tie galas, served as editor of the newsletter, wrote grants, produced videos and
appeared in more than 300 television interviews - both local and national. She most recently served as
Director of Ethical Compliance at that facility, where she was responsible for overseeing the quality
of care provided to the animal patients. Diane founded her own animal welfare organization, End
Animal Suffering, Inc., and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Friends of
Broward County Animal Care (Florida), Shepherd's Green Pig Sanctuary (Tennessee), Angels in
Distress (Florida), and is an advisory board member for Cat Rescue (Florida).
